Proudly Part Of The Community Of Sydney Catholic Schools

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School RoseberyWelcome to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Rosebery, where children and families thrive in a vibrant educational and faith community.

At St Joseph’s, we are proud to offer a contemporary educational environment designed to support the learning growth and wellbeing of every child. Since opening our doors in 2023, we’ve welcomed our students into dynamic learning hubs where student learning, collaboration, creativity, and strong relationships flourish.

Our spaces are thoughtfully designed with learning in mind— whole class areas, presentation areas, maker spaces, collaboration hubs, and quiet work zones all equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need for success both in school and beyond.

Before and after school care is available in our school hall. St Joseph’s Preschool and Long Day Care Centre is located on site to cater for the high demand for childcare locally. St Joseph’s Rosebery Church is also on-site, ensuring education and care in a faith-based environment will be available from Preschool to Year 6.

We are currently welcoming enrolments for Kindergarten to Year 2 in 2025, expanding to Kindergarten to Year 3 in 2026.

Proudly Part of the Community of Sydney Catholic Schools

Our school is part of a system of 147 low-fee Catholic schools in the Sydney Archdiocese.

Sydney Catholic Schools are thriving Catholic communities that ignite a love of Christ through excellent teaching and learning to empower students to reach their full potential.

St Joseph was a parent of courage and faith, who with Mary loved and cared for God’s only Son. Creative and daring when presented with a challenge, he worked hard and lived humbly. His example inspires us to live the Gospel and grow closer to God in faith and love.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.

Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.

They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,

They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

    We will remember them.

    LEST WE FORGET

Pope Francis. Rest in peace. 🙏

“Above all else, he was driven by Christ’s values of mercy and forgiveness. He emphasised those values in his last Christmas address saying, ‘God’s mercy can do all things. It unties every knot; it tears down every wall of division; God’s mercy dispels hatred and the spirit of revenge’.” (Cardinal Kevin Farrell)

On Thursday our students solemnly reenacted the events of Holy Week. Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday and Good Friday. All in our community are invited to attend Mass in our Parish over this Easter Triduum.
Over this Easter Triduum to remember and give thanks for our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are so grateful for your generous donations today in support of St Vincent de Paul. While the Vinnies Van was unfortunately unable to proceed today due to unforeseen circumstances, we’re pleased to share that all your generous contributions were delivered to the St Vincent de Paul hub in Lewisham, where they will be distributed as part of the Night Patrol service this evening. Thank you for echoing the words of St Mary MacKillop of the Cross, “never see a need without doing something about it.” 💛💜 #SydneyCatholicSchools #creatingfutures #stjrosebery #parishofsydneycitysouth

Today at Tender Tales we hopped into the Easter spirit with a prayer, a song, a sweet story about Easter and an eggcellent Easter egg hunt! We wrapped things up by colouring our very own Easter bunnies—each one as unique and creative as the kids themselves #SydneyCatholicSchools #creatingfutures #stjrosebery #parishofsydneycitysouth
